Starting Out :: The Birth of an Idea
Jayanti started out at a time when most handkerchiefs were of low quality and were stitched on three side. Realising the untapped potential of the market he sought to raise the bar by manufacturing hi-quality cotton handkerchiefs that were both utilitarian and decorative.
Targeting men, women, kids and teens, Bhairav Corporation’s business is based on decades of goodwill and trust. The journey has been arduous but fruitful and Jayanti has no intentions of resting on his laurels as he so eloquently puts it –

A private limited company that specialises in the manufacture of quality cotton handkerchiefs. Bhairav Corporation is in the process of diversifying its business by entering into the manufacturing of scarves, towels, garments, socks, ties and other accessories. We will also launch our online store soon. The company is also set to become a public limited company and we, at Bhairav Corporation, are working to undertake new brand promotion initiatives and expanding our existing production capacity.

Today Bhairav Corporation has more than 122 distributors across India – in all major cities like Ahmedabad, Delhi, Indore, Kolkatta, Bangalore and Hyderabad and retails at some of the most prominent stores and malls in the country.
Production Facilities & Technology
With factories in Maharashtra (Bhiwandi, Ichalkaranji and Mumbai) and a combined workforce of 415 employees, the capacity utilisation of the plants is 100% and the staff works in three shifts.
The weaving is undertaken at the Bhiwandi & Ichalkaranji plant while the Mumbai unit oversees the stitching, packing and dispatching. The combined weaving and stitching capacities of the three factories is 300,000 mtrs and 1,90,00,000 pieces pm respectively. The machineries used include Rapier looms, Air Jet looms, Semco and Juki stitching machines for processes involving yarn weaving, processing, stitching and packing.
